As per the SSC Calendar 2024, the official SSC CGL Notification 2024 is set to be released by the Staff Selection Commission on 11th June 2024.

SSC CGL 2024 Selection Process:

The SSC CGL 2024 Examination is structured in four tiers as outlined below:

1.1 Tier-I: Computer-Based Examination (Qualifying in nature)

1.2 Tier-II:

  • Paper I (Compulsory for all posts)
  • Paper II for candidates applying for the posts of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) in the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation
  • Paper III for candidates applying for the posts of Assistant Audit Officer/Assistant Accounts Officer.
  • All candidates successfully applying for the SSC CGL exam will receive Roll numbers and Admit Cards for the Computer-Based Examination (Tier-I).
  • Based on Tier-I performance, candidates will be shortlisted, category-wise, for Tier-II and Tier-III Examinations.
  • Separate cut-offs will be established for Paper-II of Tier-II (for the JSO post), Paper-III of Tier-II (for Assistant Audit Officer and Assistant Accounts Officer posts), and Paper-I of Tier-II (for all other posts).
  • Tier-II Examinations will be held for all candidates who qualified in Tier-I.
  • In Tier-II, all candidates will appear for Paper-I, II, and Paper-III. However, only specific candidates shortlisted for JSO and Assistant Audit Officer/Assistant Accounts Officer posts will be required to take Paper-II and Paper-III, respectively.
